Being connected is key to understanding the meaning of living a Christian life. We want you to be a TLF family member and be a part of one or more of the many ministries here. If you want more information about any of the ministries below please feel free to call us by phone or send us an email.
The T.L.F. children’s ministry offers a safe and fun place for your children to experience God’s love. Our Sunday morning classes run in parallel with the Sunday service and they minister to the children from infants to 5th grade. Your children are met with great big smiles from loving and well-trained teachers. All volunteers in our children’s ministry undergo an extensive background check and have the heart to serve and love your children. The children’s ministry also offers care giving for the duration of the worship services every Wednesday. Parents and guardians can fully focus on being ministered themselves, while their young ones are being taken care of.
Our classes are divided as follows:
For Toddlers (Age: 1 to 2 years old)
For Preschool (Age: 3 to 4 years old)
K.I.D.S Church ages (Age: 5 years old to 5th grade)
Kids In Divine Service (K.I.D.S.) is a program designed to prepare your kids for serving a great and wonderful God. We have a great time through Bible lessons coupled with a variety of fun and games and during our own praise and worship. We have a well-balanced curriculum which motivates your kids to read and learn the Word of God and teaches them to apply these lessons in their daily walk with God.
For children less than 1 year old, a nursery room is provided where parents/baby-sitters can take care of their children. The room is equipped with a video monitor to the main sanctuary so that the baby sitters do not have to miss the ongoing service.
TYM (Transformed Youth Ministry) meets every Wednesday nights at 7pm. We have a dynamic youth group from grade 6 to high school that love God. Wednesday service generally begins with a awesome praise and worship led by a group of young talented musicians and singers. This is followed by the preaching of the word that is timely and appropriate for the young audience.
Every year, TYM spearheads a youth conference, The CALL. What is unique about this conference is that it is for free. The youth from Washington state and other parts of Oregon come to Beaverton and stay overnight in homes hosted by the different families of TLF Church.
TLF Church believes that relationships are extremely vital for a healthy church. That is the reason why we have several small groups that cater to your need. We have homegroups for couples, adults, and young adults that meet on a regular basis, and is hosted by one of church family. A home setting promotes a environment of comfort, warmth and security which allows members of the homegroup to be relaxed and feel safe. It fosters building long and lasting friendship within the TLF community.
